TRU Core Class 15: Shoulder Girdle and Spinal Articulation

This session continues exploring the shoulder girdle, addressing common causes of neck pain by teaching you how to move from the spine rather than overusing the shoulders. Using the Cadillac's spring bar and push-through bar, Alicia guides students through modified pull-downs, straight arm presses, and lat-widening techniques. You will also practice deep spinal articulation with the Pilates roll-down, seated twists, and a modified cat-cow stretch. Throughout the class, emphasis is placed on grounding through the feet, maintaining proper pelvic alignment on the sit bones, and finding deep core connections to support upper body mobility.
