About Alicia

I Built This Work By Listening To The Body More Deeply Than Anyone Was Listening To Me.

Retired professional dancer, fascia educator, Pilates teacher, corrective exercise practitioner, and movement medicine guide.

I have spent more than 25 years helping people reconnect to their bodies, but the TRU Center Method did not come from a tidy brand exercise. It came from training, clinical experience, and from having to rebuild my own body after years of serious illness.

I care about what is real, what is anatomical, and what actually changes the state of the body. I do not believe in bypassing the body with mindset language. I believe in helping people feel, regulate, and reorganize from the inside out.

What Shapes My Work

No generic wellness scripts
No body-shaming or brute-force push-through-it coaching
No woo-woo language detached from anatomy
Yes to fascia, breath mechanics, pressure regulation, and nervous system truth

My Story

The Work Became Clear When My Own Body Forced Me To Start Over

This method came out of real breakdown, real study, and real recovery.

Chapter 1

I started as a professional dancer, then spent more than 25 years teaching movement, Pilates, corrective exercise, fascia work, and nervous system-based healing.

Chapter 2

Then I spent six years seriously ill with mold toxicity and long-haul COVID. I lost my business, my health, and the life I had built, and I had to rebuild from the ground up.

Chapter 3

That season forced me to look at both allopathic and holistic medicine with new eyes. Too often, both sides wanted to give answers instead of really listening to what the body was saying.

Chapter 4

The TRU Center Method came out of that rebuilding. It is my curation of the tools that actually changed my body: fascial maneuvers, Pilates, corrective exercise, breath work, nutrition, and the neurological side of healing.

Why People Come To Me

I have worked with A-list celebrities, Olympic athletes, executives, founders, and clients recovering from surgery or long stretches of failed treatment. The common thread is not status. It is that they know their body is telling the truth, and they want someone who can read it with depth.

The method draws from Classical Pilates, corrective exercise, fascial work, nervous system regulation, breath mechanics, and nutrition. It is warm and human, but it is not vague.
